Minor mistakes and basic breakdowns led to the demise of the Monsters on Friday night. They need to play a clean, crisp, and tight game this afternoon to close out the win.
The defense will need to hang out at the offensive zone blue line instead of inside the crease. The Monsters need have fresh legs under them in case the Moose try to take off down the ice with the puck.
This afternoon we will see how Joe Pendenza plays in his second game back on the ice. He was a bit shaky on Friday but by the end of the night he began to look a bit more stable.
Jeff Zatkoff will likely be in net for the Monsters this afternoon.
