The Cleveland Monsters and Manitoba Moose faceoff tonight at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Both teams are riding a two-game lose streak heading into tonight’s tilt.

The Moose are the better team in this matchup but have been on a bit of a cold streak.

Keys to tonight’s game:

  • Defend the crease. The Monsters  need to box players out of the crease. They need to make it  difficult for the Moose to charge the net.
  • Roll all four lines and play  multiple units on special teams. This will keep the Monsters from  getting tired.
  • Stay calm. When a Moose senses  fear or anxiety, it is game over. They will jump at the chance to  pull momentum their way.   /

Joonas Korpisalo will likely start for the Monsters tonight.

Eric Comrie was called up to the Winnipeg Jets from the Moose to backup Connor Hellebuyck. In response to this call up, the Moose signed netminder Jake Hildebrand for the forseeable future. It is not known if Hildebrand will see ice time tonight or Sunday.
