Aaron Portzline is back from vacation and brings news that the Jackets are going to be announcing the signing of Paul Dainton, who signed a minor league deal with Springfield and finished the season there last year after graduating from UMass. Dainton is expected to be playing for the Jackets at the Traverse City tournament, but after that I would guess he’ll probably be headed to the Chicago Express, given that the team already has Curtis Sanford and Allen York penciled in for Springfield.
