Both the Monsters and the Wolves are coming into tonight off of big wins. In fact, both teams played the Admirals in their last game scoring a total of 10 goals against the second place team. Since the Wolves and Monsters are sitting in the 3rd and 4th place spots in the division, beating the Admirals was a big deal for both teams.

If the Monsters win their next three games and the Wolves lose their next three games, the Monsters will leapfrog the Wolves in the standings.

There is a lot on the line for both teams tonight.

Wade Megan is currently tied for 1st in the league with three shorties and four penalty kill points. Even though the Monsters are atop the leader board on the penalty kill they need to keep their eyes open for guys like Megan.

The Monsters are 25th in the league on the power play. They already know they need to tighten this up. However, tonight it’s an even more important to have a crisp, clean power play.

Kenny Agostino is tied for second in the league with 17 power play assists. This guy knows how to capitalize on the man advantage.
