Let’s kick things off with a question.
Why does Air Canada not like the Columbus Blue Jackets?
Flew on @AirCanada yesterday and they lost my hockey bag. It’s been 24 hours and still haven’t heard anything. They have not a clue where it is and not taking responsibility for it… last time I fly on this airline. Help

I mean seriously, how do you lose a bag that big with his name and team emblazoned on the side?
So far we are on Day 2 of Seth Jones Luggage Watch and nothing has been resolved.
At least Cam Atkinson and Brandon Dubinsky received their luggage….. a day later than they were supposed to.
I guess Toronto really hates the @BlueJacketsNHL @AirCanada delivered @CamAtkinson13 and my hockey bags today. 24 hours after we landed. #tough https://t.co/SBXD7zdLMY

I’m sure we will be discussing this on the next episode of The Cannon Cast. Speaking of which, we dropped a new epi this week. We can’t believe we are at episode 25 already and thank you dearly for listening.
On this week’s episode we discuss Josh Anderson’s amazing football catch off the back of a Jet Ski, the National Television schedule (you’ll never guess who gets less love than us), and the signing of Marko Dano.
Our Top 25 Under 25 continued this week with :
20. Matiss Kivlenieks finds himself in a crowded room
19. Maxime Fortier leaves everyone wondering why he couldn’t handle the transition to the AHL
18. Paul Bittner has a powerful mustache
17. Andrew Peeke is ready for professional hockey
16. Kirill Marchenko takes steps in development while in Russia
Our Elite series came to an end this week with the goaltending.
One of our writers shared their CBJ sweater collection. It’s a nice one but no Ron Tugnutt. I guess we can let it go though.
Cleveland Monsters
Marko Dano is back with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization for the next year. YAY! I put this news in the Cleveland Monsters section because that’s where he will likely end up at the start of the season.
The NBA finally released their 2019-20 season schedule. Which means the Monsters had their annual schedule change.

Sports News Around Ohio
Cincy Jungle broke down Ryan Finley’s debut at QB.
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa! CBS is sending it’s best squad to Cleveland to cover the Browns opener on September 8th. I guess the national media does like Ohio. Maybe a little bit. Maybe.
The Cleveland Cavaliers released the 2019-2020 season schedule.
Cleveland Indians pitcher Zach Plesac is good. The question is how long can he be this good.
The Cincinnati Red lost to the Washington Nationals two games in a row. Not a good look for the team right now.
Massive Report has some great stuff on the Hell Is Real game.
Anatomy of a Goal: Inches away from victory
What We Learned: Hell is Real edition
Hell is Real feels like two points lost for the Crew
And now we will end with the best football play you will season all season.
