2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game 3 Quick Takes: Jackets fall in OT

This game followed a much different script than the previous two. It started with a bang, with Cam Atkinson scoring 11 seconds in. After a tying goal by Jake Guentzel, Cam scored again and Zach Werenski added a power play goal (yes, a power play goal) to give Columbus a 3-1 lead.

The tables turned with Pittsburgh dominating the second period and tying it up after 40 minutes.

Again it was Guentzel who struck in the third to give Pittsburgh their first lead. And yet, when all hope was lost, it was Brandon Dubinsky who came through with the game tying goal.

Overtime was a typically heart-racing affair, but Guentzel earned his first career hat trick with the game winning goal.

Full recap coming in the morning.

The Jackets face an elimination game on Tuesday night at Nationwide Arena.
