Zach Werenski’s Season Is Over

He will miss the remainder of the series with facial fractures.

Our outstanding rookie’s season has come to an end.

Zach Werenski, as noted by John Tortrella in his press conference today, will miss the remainder of the season for the Columbus Blue Jackets due to facial fractures he suffered in last night’s 5-4 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Werenski finishes his season with 11 goals, 36 assists, and 47 points in 20:55 during the regular season. He registered 1-0-1 in the postseason in 23:29 per game.

Thank you for all of the memories this season, Zach. Get well soon, and we’ll see you back here in October.
