Our trip through the Metro continues today with guest John Fischer, Managing Editor of the SBNation Devils‘ site In Lou We Trust. We didn’t get a chance to chat about the Devils last summer (mainly because I ran out of time and apparently effort), so we step all the way back to last summer and the unexpected departure of Ilya Kovalchuk, and then work our way through the Devils’ improvement during the season. John begs for a season of not getting shredded by the Calvert/Dubinsky/Atkinson combination, and I paint a picture in which that might–but probably won’t–happen for him. And, of course, what podcast would be complete without some ridiculousness at the end?
