Game three started with Aaron Rome delivering an illegal hit to Nathan Horton, but it ended with the Bruins roaring back into the series with an 8-1 asskicking.
Martini Hockey has some good thoughts on the hit itself, and the likely consequences (or lack thereof) for Rome, but the larger picture has to be how the Bruins responded afterwards, running Vancouver furiously around the rink and frustrating Roberto Luongo (though I think we have to admit tonight was not so much a bad game by Bobby Lou as a bad game by the guys in front of him – the Bruins were served up endless opportunities), and Tim Thomas wasn’t letting anything past him.
Game 4 should be interesting, to say the least. The real question is, can the Bruins keep up this momentum (possible, but difficult), and how will the Canucks answer back after getting embarrassed?
