Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella was named a finalist for the Jack Adams Award, given each year to the coach of the year in the NHL. He is honored alongside Bruce Cassidy of the Boston Bruins and Alain Vigneault of the Philadelphia Flyers.

John Tortorella is a finalist for the fifth time in his career. A win would give him three, which would tie him for the most all time.
This is John Tortorella’s fifth shot at winning the Jack Adams.
He won it in 2016-17 with #CBJ and in 2003-04 with TBL. He was a runner-up in 2002-03 with TBL and 2011-12 with NYR.
He would join Pat Burns as the second three-time winner should he win.
