Game Thread Edit- Commodore Out, Pahlsson moves up

From Tom Reed at the Dispatch:

The Jackets will be without Derick Brassard (hand), Mike Commodore (charley horse) and Kristen Huselius (upper body) for tonight’s game. Jackets coach Ken Hitchcock said all three are likely to miss Thursday’s game as well.

The Jackets are saying they think Huselius was injured in practice yesterday, but he also caught a stick in the neck/back of head as he and Milan Jurcina fell to the ice in Washington.

The Jackets lines look like this:

Umberger-Vermette-Nash
Torres-Pahlsson-Voracek
Chimera-Blunden-Dorsett
Filatov-MacKenzie-Boll

Hejda-Klesla
Stralman-Tyutin
Methot-Russell

Mason

Looks like the Jackets are finally giving up on RJ playing center. He has proven to be much better on the wing anyway, but it’s interesting to see Sammy Pahlsson move up to the second line. Jake and Torres make for good linemates, however, so the line shouldn’t be at risk of not scoring. This is a big opportunity for Mike Blunden, Chimmer and Dors will take care of him. Filatov musn’t be 100%, so they are kind of shielding him on the fourth line. Unless he gets PP time, we likely won’t see much of him. (like we were going to anyway). I thought this would be a great chance for Nik to get some serious minutes.

We’ll have to wait a little longer to see Commie and Hejda together.
