After thoroughly dominating the New York Islanders to open the season last night, the Columbus Blue Jackets hit the road to take on the Chicago Blackhawks. The Hawks served notice to the league on Thursday night by smacking down the defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins 10-1. To avoid a similar fate, the Jackets will have to skate with the same intensity and urgency that they showed on opening night.

After getting the start last night, Sergei Bobrovsky will likely have the night off (though this is not confirmed at this time). If he does, Joonas Korpisalo will get the start in net for the Jackets.

A win tonight would give the Jackets a 3 point lead over the Penguins after 2 games. Let’s go make it happen.
