The Jackets and Bruins meet for the final time this regular season tonight in Boston, with each squad looking to build off of victories yesterday.

The Jackets need to bring the same intensity and work ethic as last night. On paper, these teams are massively mismatched, so to steal a win on the road the Jackets must play their grinding style and take advantage of turnovers and powerplays.

Ryan Johansen is in full beast mode, and I look for him to continue to lead the team while Marian Gaborik, Brandon Dubinsky and Nathan Horton remain sidelined. It’s a shame that Horton didn’t have an opportunity to face his former club this year.

I thought the fourth line, led by Jack Skille, was great again last night. With Jared Boll and Derek MacKenzie also out of the lineup, Skille, Michael Chaput and newcomer Corey Tropp have to give the Bruins fits whenever they hop on the ice.

At the time of this writing, starters haven’t been officially announced, but given the fact both teams played last night a battle of the backups makes sense.
