In a game virtually no one expected the Jackets win, Columbus dominated the St. Louis Blues, the hottest team in the league, to the tune of 7-1. Yes, the Jackets managed SEVEN goals.
So many goals. A couple came via some odd bounces, others were things of beauty.
Blues goalie Brian Elliott was chased after four goals, it made no difference. The CBJ kept piling it on.
Curtis McElhinney came up huge with 32 saves. It.was a great performance all around.
I still can’t even…where has this been all season?? The bottom seemed to have fallen out here recently, but this effort, this performance was unbelievable.
The team heads out to Ottawa to take on the Sens tomorrow. Some bad news – both Ryan Murray and James Wisniewski will not make the trip. Because of course.
