Coming off a win in Calgary, the Blue Jackets look to win consecutive gaes for just the third time all season, and complete an unexpected sweep of the league-leading Canucks. The Jackets prevailed in a shootout in Columbus just 12 days ago.

Player to Watch
Dmitri Voronkov
The Russian rookie has scored four goals in his last four games, which includes two against the Canucks, and one each in the first two games of this current road trip. He is fourth in NHL rookies in scoring this season (just behind Adam Fantilli), sixth in points (tied with Logan Cooley), and second in power play goals. We knew his physical game could translate to North America, but his offensive skill was underrated. He put up 18/13/31 in 54 regular season games in the KHL last season, and is already at 11/13/24 in 41 NHL games this season.
Jackets Notes
Update (2:14): Boqvist will miss the rest of the road trip, and Nick Blankenburg will be called up. This probably means Andrew Peeke plays tonight. Ugh.
We are still waiting to learn the status for Adam Boqvist and Jack Roslovic, who left Thursday’s game in the third period:
