Teuvo Teräväinen
For a team that has always dominated possession but sometimes had issues with finishing, the man called “Turbo” has been immune this season, and in fact is scoring at a better rate than any other season in his career. His previous high was 23 goals in 2017-18, but his team-leading 10 goals put him on pace for 40 for the season. That 26.3% shooting percentage is likely not sustainable (career rate is 10.4%) but that entire top line along with Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis is one to look out for.

Alexandre Texier, who missed the last two games with illness, did travel to Carolina and could play tonight…Defensive prospect Denton Mateychuk has scored in every game of his WHL season.
The Other Bench
If you think Elvis has struggled, what about Antti Raanta giving up 8 goals on 14 shots on goal in Carolina’s 8-2 loss on Friday? … Goaltender Frederik Andersen is out indefinitely while receiving treatment to resolve a blood clotting issue. Best wishes for a quick recovery.
