3 hours to the drop of the puck, and I’m heading straight from work down to the arena, so here’s your game thread for tonight. Once again, if you can’t make it down to Nationwide, it’s radio coverage only, so tune, sit back, and drop a few comments into the jar as the game goes on!
While I’m hoping this game doesn’t turn into a track meet, I think it’s reasonable to expect a fair bit of offense. The last few times these teams have met, it’s been 3-2, 5-4, and 3-4 scores.
How many goals do you think we might see out of the combination of Filatov, Brassard, and Voracek? And will all the people with “VORRASARD!” or “BRASSACEK” jersey fouls be forced to further push the bounds of good taste if the line sticks together in the regular season? Will Ryan Johansen be able to match or better the preseason debut of Portland teammate Oliver Gabriel?
