With a glut of talent in camp, first year head coach Brad Larsen separated the players into A and B squads. For the three preseason games, it’s expected that nobody will play in all three games, while everybody will get some ice time in a portion of the games.
One year ago, it was a whole different story. The Falcons preseason lineup had yet to receive any help from the Jackets. The other AHL clubs were also in tryout mode, taking a look to see if anybody would be able to help them out.

Fans back at The Nest have games to look forward to this Friday (Worcester Sharks) and Saturday (Providence Bruins). This will be the first time to see Ryan Johansen in Springfield.
