Milano has had a breakout season for the Cleveland Monsters this year, registered 16-27-43 in 59 games. Milano currently leads the Monsters in points, is second on the team in goals scored, and is tied for the team lead in assists. Milano has played in 5 games in his NHL career, registering 0-1-1 in those games.
Milano is an offensive threat and can hopefully bolster a sagging offense. This, along with the return of Oliver Bjorkstrand to practice today, can help the team rediscover its goal scoring touch ahead of the playoffs.
UPDATE
Per Tom Reed of the Columbus Dispatch, Milano will be in the lineup in place of Matt Calvert tomorrow night against the Penguins.
With Sonny Milano entering tomorrow night's lineup, Matt Calvert looks to be the odd man out.
