The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced their 2019 training camp information, including roster and schedule, ahead of kicking off camp Thursday morning.
Fitness testing and media interviews will take place Thursday and workouts begin Friday. All practices beginning on Saturday are open to the public. Per the team (emphasis theirs):
The team will conduct off-ice workouts and on-ice testing on Friday, September 13 at the OhioHealth Ice Haus with the first team on-ice practices and scrimmages slated for Saturday, September 14 in the Ice Haus. Three groups will take part in practice and scrimmages between 9 a.m.-2:10 p.m. at the OhioHealth Ice Haus. All practice sessions in the OhioHealth Ice Haus beginning Saturday, September 14 are open to the public. The first 1,000 fans in attendance on Saturday will receive a Blue Jackets long sleeve T-shirt courtesy of OhioHealth.
The Blue Jackets have invited 36 forwards, 17 defensemen and six goaltenders to camp this year.
