Blue Jackets and Penguins Set as First Round Opponents

The only question that remains is which team will have home ice.

Thanks to the Washington Capitals winning their second consecutive President’s Trophy last night, we have some clarity with regard to the playoffs.

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins are officially set to meet in the first round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Over the next 3 games, home ice advantage will be determined, though the Penguins clearly have a leg up in that race.
