2013 NHL Draft: Jackets Draft Markus Soberg 165th Overall

With their 6th-round pick, the Jackets drafted Norwegian winger Markus Soberg from the Frolunda Jr. team.

With their sixth-round draft choice, the Jackets picked up Norwegian winger Markus Soberg. I'm already in love with this kid. He was a dominant fixture on a handful of Norwegian national teams, and is currently developing in the Frolunda system in Sweden.

There's a chance he'd make the jump across the pond as an import player in the Canadian Hockey League if the Jackets would prefer for him to continue his development in North America, and judging by this interview with him he'd be totally on board with the idea.

If he stays in Sweden, he'll join Daniel Zaar as offensive players to keep an eye on.
