Over the past year, Seth Jarvis has made quite the name for himself in the WHL playing for the Portland Winterhawks. His away from the puck game is as impressive as his ability to find the back of the net. Seriously, this kid went on a scoring spree this year notching 98 points in the form of 42 goals and 56 assists.

Don’t let size shade your opinion of Jarvis. Despite standing at 5’10” and weighing in at 172, Jarvis is a huge presence on the ice. He’s not afraid to get in the corners digging for pucks or force bigger guys off of their axis.

Jarvis is an all around player that needs to go to an organization who won’t stall his growth.

Scouting Reports

“He’s fast on the rush, quick counter-punch guy. He’s got a real scoring touch in tight” – Winterhawks Head Coach Mike Johnston in an interview with Robert Murray of WHL.ca

“The smaller, wiry winger is at his best in space and playing with pace. Jarvis is supremely skilled and sees the ice at an advanced level” – Jordan Hall – NBC Sports
