Zach Werenski Medically Cleared

The defenseman is good to go.

Zach Werenski is back.

Nearly two months after fracturing an orbital bone in his face and requiring 18 stitches just below his eye, Werenski has been medically cleared by doctors to resume preparations for next season.

Werenski will be healthy and ready to play next season after taking time to rest this offseason and recover from his first season of NHL duty for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Welcome back, Zach!
