Of note for Team USA are Seth Jones’ little bro Caleb, and Columbus native Jack Roslovic. For Team Canada is Columbus first round pick Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Feel free to comment here during intermission of the Columbus game, and then after the Columbus game ends to see if the US can come home with the gold!

Here is Brandon Dubinsky commenting on this tournament:

I was actually in the room with Seth Jones, and his brother Caleb plays for the team. I asked him if he was a little bit nervous, he said, ‘No.’ I could tell he was lying, just seeing him in the third period he was nervous for his brother. … There’s a guy from Ohio, Jack Roslovic, we were excited for. I was pulling for him to get the winner there but [Troy] Terry goes five-hole three different ways there in the shootout. With those crazy international shootout rules [that] allowed him to go three times, kind of reminds me of [T.J.] Oshie back there in the Olympics. It was a lot of fun to watch and proud to be an American and hopefully they can find a way to get the job done. … We’re pulling for them. USA Hockey is climbing the ladder, and we’re getting better and better, and it’s exciting to be an American and an American hockey player.
