Today in the A, I have an update regarding the auction of Springfield Falcons road jerseys. In the American Hockey League, the home jersey is the white (or light), while the road is the dark…the opposite of the NHL. So, Jackets fans and collectors you could be the one sporting a spiffy blue Falcons sweater at Nationwide next season!

The auctions are scheduled to commence ending today, Wednesday May 11th at 2:13PM, eastern time for a #3 John Moore. Auctions are staggered to end every minute or two, with the last one being a signed Cam Atkinson #13 which is slated to end at 3:07PM eastern time.
The Falcons home white sweaters were auctioned off a few weeks ago. Sadly, I was on vacation and missed out.
Usually, at least a portion of the proceeds from these Falcons auctions goes to Falcons Charities, which funds services for those in need in western Massachusetts.
