The Columbus Blue Jackets come back home after a weekend split at the Chicago Blackhawks! They’ll face the Dallas Stars with games Tuesday and Thursday. Patrik Laine is also in Columbus and could be cleared to play as soon as Tuesday. In addition to clearing the travel hurdles and COVID protocols, Laine was skating at Nationwide Arena on Monday.
In this edition of The Cannon Cast we talk about:
- Patrik Laine’s debut on tap next? Who comes out of the lineup for the star winger?
- Pierre-Luc Dubois’ mysterious exit not tied to the futures of Seth Jones, Zach Werenski?
- Cleveland Monsters
- Rachel’s onion ice cream
- Super Bowl predictions/
and much more!
How good has Joonas Korpisalo been?
GAA = 2.17
Expected GAA (shot quantity & quality he faces) = 3.79, the highest of any goalie with 200+ minutes.Long and short, no team has benefitted from the play of a goaltender more this season than CBJ has from Korpisalo. #CBJ
