Steve Mason has been named The Sporting News’ Rookie of the Year, an award voted on by 292 NHL players.

The entire awards package will appear in this week’s Sporting News Magazine, which is available at all Barnes & Noble, Borders and Hudson Retail outlets.
Hopefully Mase can carry this success to the NHL awards next month in Las Vegas.
