JARED BOLL
Q) Hi Jared, tell us a little about yourself.
A) I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 13, 1986. I play right wing and have developed a bit of a reputation as a fighter. I was drafted by the Blue Jackets 101st overall in 2005. Columbus is the only team I’ve played with in my professional career.
Q) Tell us about some intangibles you could bring to the Blue Jackets.
A) As I mentioned, I’m a fighter. I leave it all on the ice to protect my teammates. Often fighting players that are bigger than me, I’ve become known as a fierce competitor and will never back down.
Q) What areas of your game do you think you can improve on?
A) I don’t add too much offense, but I am working to improve on that. Last year, I scored more goals than any previous year.
Q) Can you give us some examples of your hockey accomplishments?
A) I’m still early on in my career and hoping to leave a positive mark on the NHL. As an alternate captain with the Plymouth Whalers in the OHL, we won the J. Ross Roberston Cup and I had my best season, scoring 28 goals en route to winning the championship.
