With the NHL’s Winter Classic being announced tomorrow, Icethetics has speculation on what each team might wear for the game.
With the suspensions to James Wisniewski and Brad Staubitz, we had reactions from PHT, Puck Daddy, and the Dispatch. While I agree that, yes, we are in a new era of discipline, I disagree with the idea that Wiz was somehow unaware of that fact. I think his actions were in the heat of the moment, but retaliation against Clutterbuck’s previous hit rather than an unprovoked hit like Staubitz’s hit on Cody Bass.
Speaking of discipline, it took Matt Cooke all of two preseason games before he was responsible for a questionable hit. So much for changing his game for the better.
Some great news from the Jacket Backers – their NHL 12 tournament, held with the Arch City Army, raised $1,600 for charity, and they’ll be holding a raffle to give away two seats on the Nashville trip!
