Shrapnel – 6/11/11

If you live in Ohio, you stayed up on a Friday Night to watch a tense Game 5 as Roberto Luongo answered his critics with a 1-0 shutout, giving the Canucks a 3-2 series lead. If you live in Vancouver, well, you probably stayed up on a Friday night drinking to celebrate, and those in Boston were likely drinking to forget. Or watching the Sox game. You know, whichever. Oh, and Puck Daddy thinks that Max Lapierre’s game ought to go into a time capsule.

Here in Columbus, our big news was that Grant Clitsome will be back on the blue line for the next two years. Dan wrote a great editorial, while we had reactions from Puck Rakers, DBJ, and Ten Minute Misconduct.

Here’s hoping this is just the start of a busy summer for Scott Howson, but it’s certainly a positive step in the right direction.
