You have to wonder if GM Don Maloney will start listening to offers now, after previously refusing to do anything until Turris had signed on the dotted line.
The news on Steve Mason is not great – the netminder has a mild concussion after taking a shot off his mask in practice on Monday, and he is not on the trip to Jersey. The team hopes to see him back in the lineup by Friday, but this is a situation where you simply can’t be too careful.
