Seth Jones to Return for Tuesday’s Game Against Arizona

Jones missed the first seven games with a knee injury

The Columbus Blue Jackets will receive a big boost for Tuesday night’s home against Arizona as Seth Jones will return to the lineup, the team announced today.

Jones was injured during the Blue Jackets’ preseason game against the Buffalo Sabres on September 25 in the Kraft Hockeyville game. The prognosis for his sprained MCL was four-to-six weeks, and he’ll make his return at four weeks exactly.

Jones returned to practice last week and will have missed seven regular season games if he does indeed play tomorrow.

He’s always been a fast healer, though.

The return of No. 3 is huge news for the Blue Jackets defensive corps, which will likely slide David Savard to a bottom pairing with Dean Kukan or Scott Harrington or who cares because Seth Jones is back?
