The Columbus Blue Jackets hit the ice Saturday night looking to even their second round series with the Boston Bruins. Columbus started slow in game one, but let a third period lead slip away as they fell in overtime.
Saturday, the Jackets juggled the lineup ahead of their game as Torts made an … interesting lineup decision, swapping out Ryan Dzingel for Alexander Wennberg. No other changes were made.
Here’s what happened.
First Period
A heavy hitting start to the game Boston opened the scoring with a power play goal from Matt Grzelcyk after Josh Anderson was boxed for interference.
Second Period
Artemi Panarin equalized on a Brad Marchand cross checking penalty. Seconds later, Charlie Coyle scored as he threw a puck at the net that caromed in off the back of Dean Kukan’s leg.
Panarin is magical, tie game.
