The Columbus Blue Jackets returned home on the second night of a back to back to host the San Jose Sharks. Matt Duchene, visa in tow, made his home debut with his new club.

First Period
Boone Jenner opened the scoring on a sublime feed from Josh Anderson.
Second Period
Matt Duchene opened his Blue Jackets account as he made it 2-0 with a greasy goal in front of the Sharks net.
Cam Atkinson made it 3-0 on the power play with seconds to go in the period as the Jackets took a commanding lead into the dressing room.
Third Period
Pierre-Luc Dubois made it 4-0 as the Jackets continued their demolition of the Sharks and chased Martin Jones.
