A Casey Cizikas breakaway goal and several Thomas Greiss stops were the difference as the Islanders led 1-0 after 20 minutes.

Casey Cizikas scored his second breakaway goal of the night to make it 2-0.
Josh Bailey scored on a deflected puck to make it 3-0 late in the period.
