The Columbus Blue Jackets are hoping to enter their bye week on a high note with a win over the Vancouver Canucks.

The Jackets are finishing up their 11th back-to-back this season. While the Canucks will enter tonight’s game well rested as they last played on Tuesday night in Washington.

Losing last night might be the spark the Jackets need to finish this week strong. There is no way Coach John Tortorella is going to let the Canucks walk all over his squad.

If they want to win tonight, every single Jacket needs to be a positive presence on the ice. It just can’t be the Sergei Bobrovsky, Artemi Panarin, and Seth Jones show. Both Panarin and Jones are riding a three-game point streak into tonight’s game. Attacking the net often will prove beneficial tonight, as well.

As of late, the Canucks have been riding the struggle bus. The last time Vancouver came out on top was January 28th when they beat the Chicago Blackhawks, 5-2. This means they are riding a five-game lose-streak. They also have been unable to drum up any sort of offense.

The only people the Jackets need to worry about are the Sedin Brothers and Brock Boeser.
