vs

Tucson Roadrunners, 29-17-3-1,62 points, .620 win%, 1st Pacific, 2nd West

Tonight is the first game the Cleveland Monsters played since four of their players were traded on Monday. Two of them were traded to the very team they are playing tonight, the Tucson Roadrunners.

Jordan Maletta and Carter Camper are set to make their debuts with the Roadrunners this weekend. Camper is first on the Roadrunners in assists and second with points and goals. All of which were tallied while playing with the Monsters.

Tonight will be a weird night for fans. Maletta and Camper will be wearing a different jersey, Tyler Motte won’t be on the ice, and Nick Moutrey won’t be wandering the halls of the Q.

The Roadrunners may be first in the division and second in the conference but they aren’t far off from the Monsters. In fact, the Monsters seem to have a better special teams than the Roadrunners.

So, what is the difference between the two?

Goals.

The Roadrunners know how to score goals.

If the Monsters can keep them from getting into the defensive zone, they should be fine.

However, it will be interesting to see how they play against a guy like Camper.
