The Columbus Blue Jackets are looking to extend the San Jose Sharks’ lose streak to five tonight.

Despite being in net for three of the Sharks’ four losses, Martin Jones will be starting tonight. As of right now, it looks like Sergei Bobrovsky will be starting the start against the Sharks.

The Sharks excel on their special teams. They are second in the league on the power play (23.0%) and fifth in the league on the penalty kill (84.1%). While the Jackets are dead last on the power play (14.1%) and 27th on the penalty kill (14.1%).

San Jose scores an average of 2.86 goals per game to Columbus’ 2.54.

TheJackets will need to keep an eye on Brent Burns. The veteran defender is coming off of a seven-game point streak. Nine points were scored over those seven games.

Simply put, this game is not going to be easy for the Jackets. Winning is a possibility but it won’t be easy.
