Cleveland Monsters, 16-25-4-3, 39 points, .406 win%, 7th Central, 15th West

vs

Chicago Wolves, 24-16-6-2, 56 points, .583 win%, 3rd Central, 5th West

Tonight, the Cleveland Monsters will try to string together three wins in a row. They have yet to win three in a row this season. In fact, this is only the fourth time this season the Monsters have won two games in a row.

The Wolves want to hold on to the three spot in the division for as long as possible. They will not go easy on the Monsters.

Tomas Hyka is the only player from both teams to score at a point per game rate in the season series. Nine Wolves have 2-3 points in the series. Every member of Chicago knows how to produce. They’ll have to shut the Wolves down the moment the puck drops.

To come out on top the Monsters need to do exactly what they have been doing.

  • Roll all four lines as evenly as possible
  • Play both power play units so the top line doesn’t get burnt out
  • Keep the Wolves away from the crease/

Unless Ivan Kulbakov is ready to go, Matiss Kivlenieks will likely be the starting netminder for the Monsters.
