Cleveland Monsters, 19-29-4-3, 45 points, .409 win%, 7th Central, 15th West

vs

San Diego Gulls, 30-19-1-1, 62 points, .608 win%, 2nd Pacific, 4th West

Coming off of a big win against Tucson, the Cleveland Monsters are looking to add a second win to their record.

This is the first of four meetings between the two teams this season.

San Diego is first in the league on the power play. So, the Monsters penalty kill will need to play a tight game. Staying off the pk would be the better option. However, not taking a penalty will prove hard for both teams. The Gulls are incredible aggressive. While, the Monsters have a chip on their shoulder. Look for guys like Mike Liambas, Jard Boll, and Corey Tropp to start a ruckous.

In desperate need of size and energy, the Monsters traded Bobby MacIntyre to Manitoba in exchange for Kale Kessy. If he gets to San Diego in time, Kessy will play.
