Welcome to the postseason!
If you’re new to The Cannon or just not a gamethread regular, here are some ground rules:
- Gamethreads move fast, so it’s better on everyone’s systems to not post any pictures or GIFs. Unless the Jackets score a goal, in which case cannon pictures are appropriate. But (and thanks to stinerman for reminding me) they better be pictures of UNION cannons, not Confederate ones.
- Keep the profanity to a minimum. It makes some users uncomfortable and it adds little to the conversation. I’m not looking to snap you on the knuckles with a ruler for it, just…take it easy, ok?
- Personal attacks/threats/harassment directed at other commenters will be met with warnings, then suspensions, then bans.
- We welcome fans of all teams. But if you’re going to just troll the Jackets, then I’m just going to ban you outright to avoid any future headache.
- I hope none of these warnings are necessary. Sadly they have been in the past.
- If you see something objectionable, don’t reply to it and make it worse. Just flag it and move on.
- When in doubt, consult the SBNation Community Guidelines. Basically, just don’t be an asshole./
