TSN reports Blake Comeau has been traded from the Calgary Flames to the Blue Jackets for a fifth round pick.
Comeau had a couple great seasons with the New York Islanders. He hasn’t had that success in Calgary, but nothing has gone right for that team this year. His acquisition is thought to replace some of the grit and leadership lost in moving Derek Dorsett to New York as part of the package for Marian Gaborik.
