William Strömgren is a big bodied winger with deceptively good hands and surprisingly fast speed. However, the praises seem to stop there. He may show talent with the puck, but his positioning and play away from the puck reportedly leave a lot to be desired. Like most picks outside the first round, Strömgren is going to be a high risk pick. It’s hard to imagine the Blue Jackets using a pick on him, but he could get a second glance if he falls to the third round.

He looks helpless without the puck on his stick and does not show strong decision making abilities.
