If you haven’t already heard, the Jackets are changing their AHL affiliate next season. At The Cannon we strive to give you the most in-depth coverage of the Jackets organization, and that includes keeping you updated on the progress of the team’s future stars as the develop in the AHL.
For the past few years, we’ve had the pleasure of having Lou Bordeaux on our writing team, who brought keen insight and opinion on the Springfield Falcons. Next season the Jackets are teaming up with the Lake Erie Monsters, and we’re looking for a volunteer writer to offer the same kind of in-depth coverage of the Jackets’ new AHL affiliate.
Do you consider yourself a passionate, knowledgeable fan of the Monsters? We’d love for you to join our writing team!
What we’d expect:
1) Regular updates on the Monsters
2) Participation in site-wide features, such as draft prospect profile writing, roundtables and prediction posts
3) Good writing skills
4) Ability to use statistics and historical facts to back up opinion
5) It would preferable if you live in Cleveland/can regularly attend home games
