Jackets Release Lineup For Tuesday
The Blue Jackets have released the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Wild - potentially the last chance for some of these players to make an impression before the team cuts the roster down to the core group who will start the season in Sweden.
Kristian Huselius - Antoine Vermette - Tomas Kubalik
Nikita Filatov - Kyle Wilson - Chad Kolarik
Ethan Moreau - Andrew Murray - Chris Clark
Tom Sestito - Ben Guite - Mike Blunden
Rostislav Klesla - Cody Goloubef
Extra Players: Jon Sigalet, Steven Delisle
I have to admit I like Moreau / Murray / Clark. That could be a very good fourth line, when things finish shaking out.
I also like that Delisle's getting a chance to at least see a little game action. Same for Nick Holden. Glad to see that both will get a taste before (probably) being reassigned.
Anyone else a little disappointed that there's no Oliver Gabriel? I was really hoping we'd see him dress for at least one game at home to get a better look at him.
Goldbeef on the top line means he's really going to have to bring it. Here's hoping we see him with a big night.
Also interesting that John Moore's making the rounds again. I really wonder if this is a "Show us something" game to make the decision on if he stays with the team, or starts the year in Springfield.
We'll have more tomorrow, especially once the Wild posts their lineup for tomorrow's match - they've very nearly completed their training camp cuts, so it will be interesting to see who sits and who goes.
