Jackets Draft D Dalton Prout 154th Overall

Prout is a draft-reentry this year, as he was passed over in the 2009 draft. He plays for the Barrie Colts of the OHL. He's a defense-first blueliner who took his game to the next level this year with the Colts. It's hard to say if he'll turn into a legit candidate for time in Columbus, but in the meantime he is a late-blooming blueliner who could surprise.
