The Cleveland Monsters are flying high off of a big overtime win against the Iowa Wild on Wednesday.  Fans were treated to a team they have been begging to see all year. A confident, skillful, hardworking, and exciting team.

Pontus Aberg has always been a thorn in the Monsters' side. Luckily, they don't have to worry about him this weekend since he's playing for the parent team, the Nashville Predators.

As I said earlier this season. Once you frustrate Jimmy Oligny, you frustrate the whole team. Especially now that Aberg is gone and unable to get his mind on the right track. Oligny will try to fight someone. He will try to rattle who he deems the weakest player on the team. The best thing the Monsters can do is not play into Oligny's game.

The Monsters cannot let the Admirals dominate during a Monsters' penalty kill. They need to shut them down immediately and keep the puck as far away from the defensive zone as possible.

If the Monsters play the way they did on Wednesday, the weekend series will be theirs for the taking.
