Welcome back, JD

Major breaking news on Wednesday night from Brian Hedger of The Columbus Dispatch:

Davidson served as president of hockey operations from 2012-2019 before departing to fill that role with the New York Rangers. He was fired from that post earlier this month.

Davidson is one of the most well-respected figures in the league, and his return can help a franchise which has suffered a series of high profile blows over the last two years due to free agent departures and trade demands.
