The Columbus Blue Jackets play their 3rd game in 4 nights tonight when they take on the New Jersey Devils. Following last night’s lackluster performance against the Ottawa Senators, the Blue Jackets will be hard pressed to get a win against the cellar dwelling Devils.
The Devils, as you may remember, absolutely demolished the Blue Jackets in February to the tune of 5-1 in Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets should be motivated to avenge that loss.
The Blue Jackets will also be facing former defenseman Dalton Prout, traded to the Devils on deadline day, and Kyle Quincey will be making his return shortly after being acquired in the same deal.
The Blue Jackets will be facing off against netminder Keith Kinkaid. Sergei Bobrovsky will man the Blue Jackets’ net. New Jersey enters on a 6 game losing streak, and is ripe for the picking for Columbus to get back on track.
